I took this photo on a roadtrip from Asmara to Massawa, Eritrea in 2019. Since it was on film, I waited over a year to develop, wondering if I had captured the overlapping mountains as well as my eyes. I feel something more nostalgic when I look at this photo unlike the awe I experienced when I took it.
